On the 15th October 2022 I'll be leading one of three artists and collectives leading a walk around Deptford and New Cross for LVAN: Relay! a participatory programme designed to connect communities in Lewisham with visual arts spaces and activities across the borough.
l'll be collecting and exchanging memories connected to the local area before, during and after the walk.

LVAN: Relay! is a participatory programme designed to connect communities in Lewisham with visual arts spaces and activities across the borough. The programme will open up local ecologies and geographies in new and exciting ways, highlighting how art and daily life can intersect. It will launch on the 15th October with a focused day of live events, supported by an interactive map and walking prompts to facilitate new ongoing connections to be made.
This programme is in partnership with all 44 organisations who make up the Lewisham Visual Art Network (LVAN) and are working collaboratively to raise the profile of the arts. This event will be curated by Mapping Local Ecologies, a curatorial collective who create workshops and experiences aimed at re-discovering and re-engaging with historical and newfound narratives within South East London.
