This project was undertaken with artists Harriet Mena Hill, Phoebe Langley Gussin and Hannah Cushion as an Our Cube collective for the Prince Philip Maritime Collection Centre with learners from Newhaven Pupil Referral Unit. PPMCC is the store for Royal Museums Greenwich.

'Windows into the collection' seek to explore the contents of the collection centre and build awareness of what the centre is for local residents. We worked with learners from Newhaven PRU through a series of creative workshops to identify objects from the collection and develop a series of creative responses to these objects as well as to capture a series of 6 words which embody the site.

These 6 works of art can be viewed from the outside and sit over bricked up windows in one of the archive buildings that help Blimps during WWII.

Our Cube is a creative collective that aims to deliver community-led projects in association with public and heritage spaces to encourage dialogue, investigation and exploration in order for participants to develop the confidence to take ownership of these spaces and to foster a sense of belonging.
